Local Attractions

The surrounding area is one of beautiful beaches, bustling coastal resorts, fishing villages, market towns and many local beauty spots. Only 3 miles away is the fishing port of Eyemouth where there is a Swimming Pool as well as many other facilities.

The nearest large town is Berwick Upon Tweed. Noted for its historic interest and Market Days (Wed & Sat), Berwick is a bustling border town at the mouth of the River Tweed. For a taste of city life, the festival city of Edinburgh is only 44 miles away and can be reached well within the hour.

Coldingham is a quiet, picturesque Border village with small pubs, grocery shop and one garage. The Coldingham Priory which is of great religious significance is situated nearby. The Priory, which is being excavated, was founded by Edgar, King of Scotland in 1097.

Also nearby is the scenic fishing village of St. Abbs, where boats can be launched by arrangement with the Harbour Master, and Coldingham Loch, one of the most famous trout fishing lochs in Scotland.
